1973
In 1973, Lotto Sport Italia is born in the footwear district of Montebelluna, a small town in the province of Treviso. The initial sports footwear launch is tennis shoes, followed by basketball, volleyball, track and field and lastly, soccer.
From the beginning, the name of the company is associated with an iconic logo: a tennis field and a football field, superimposed, and connected by a passion for sports, and values, such as respect and fair play, which still reflect the nature of Lotto. Within a short time, the range of products also expands to include the production of sportswear

70's
In its first 10 years, Lotto establishes itself as a leader in the sporting goods industry and the sporting world. Lotto becoming one of the first brands in the sporting goods sector, carving out a leading position for themselves in the tennis world. With their aggressive and proactive commitment to innovation, and relentless pursuit of excellence, Lotto is rewarded. They score what was then a rarity in athletics, in the form of unsolicited endorsements: the champions of the day do the brand during the most important points of their career. World-renowned tennis players, John Newcombe, an 8-time Wimbledon champion, and Tonino Zugarelli, a Davis Cup champion with Italy in 1976 are both wearing Lotto on their feet as they win big in front of the world.

80's
This is the decade when the company starts producing its first pair of soccer shoes, reaching the pinnacle of success with the World Cup triumph of Dino Zoff, the star goalkeeper and captain of the team fielded by Italy. This decade also saw Lotto sponsor other high level athletes, from soccer great, Carlo Ancelotti, to midfielder and captain of the 1988 Dutch National Team, Ruud Gullit. The collaboration with top world-renowned tennis athletes continues with sponsoring Alberto Mancini, Thomas Muster and Josè Luis Clerc who makes it to the doubles final round of the 1981 Davis Cup against team United States with Lotto on his feet. In track and field, Lotto is beside Said Aouita, one of the greatest champions of the Arab region, Morocco. He was the only athlete able to run 800 meters under the 1’44 ", and 10 000 m below 27’30". In addition, winning gold with Lotto on his feet in the 1984 Olympics is Italian shot-putter, Alessandro Andrei. Worldwide, Lotto grew exponentially in the 1980s, as the brand reached over 60 countries around the world.

90's
As it starts to mature and find its place in the sports apparel and footwear markets, Lotto begins mixing innovation with tradition, a gamble that would quickly pay off. Its high technical standard, emphasis on beauty-in-design and obsessive attention to detail accompanies sports professionals to their greatest professional accomplishments: tennis racket ruler, Martina Navratilova, who holds all the records for the most wins in women’s tennis, Boris Becker, known to be an extreme competitor and animated warrior; and Thomas Muster, who in 1995, together with Lotto, raises the cup of Roland Garros to Paris skyline. The ‘90s are the era in which Lotto begins to leave its mark on the football world. In 1994 together with A.C. Milan Lotto wins the European and Italian football championships. While in 1998, Lotto earns a beautiful third place with the Croatian national team in the World Cup in France 98.

00's
As if a new millennium was not exciting enough, the 2002 World Cup in South Korea/Japan just added to the thrill. Cafù, the solid and stoic Brazilian defender, and who is captain this year, leads his team to victory. Once again, Lotto footwear is in the spotlight, sharing the glare with Cafù, who is the only player to ever appear in three consecutive World Cups.
4 years later Lotto is makes history again on July 9th, 2006 when Luca Toni, Simone Perrotta and Mauro Camoranesi are wearing Lotto Zhero Evolution when Italy wins the World Cup for the 4th time on that magical night. During the 2006, World Cup in Germany Lotto officially launches the Lotto Zero Gravity, the world’s first lace free football shoe. It was also during this time that Lotto wins together with Andriy Shevchenko the 2003 European Championships and the 2004 Fifa Ballon d’Or.

2010-2015
In just five years, Lotto accumulated trophies in world championships. In 2010, Joan Capdevila, wearing the customized "Lotto Fuerzapura" shoe, helped Spain win the World Cup, bringing the “double field” logo to the spotlight. Lotto’s passion and belief in big dreams led to its sponsorship of the Costa Rican National football team, which made a historic run to the 2014 World Cup quarter-finals. The "double field" logo was also worn by Luca Toni, who became Serie A’s top scorer in 2014, with over 300 career goals. In tennis, Lotto athletes achieved great victories, with Francesca Schiavone winning Roland Garros in 2010 and Marion Bartoli winning Wimbledon in 2013. Additionally, David Ferrer and Agnieszka Radwanska brought Lotto to the world’s top tennis courts. The Lotto Zhero Gravity VII football shoe was included in the "ADI Design Index 2015," recognizing it as one of Italy’s top design products.

2015-2020
In tennis, Lotto always wins with Agnieszka Radwanska in Beijing, New Haven and Shenzhen, while Leonardo Mayer and Guido Pella from Argentina win the Davis Cup. While In football, the double field logo testimonial Jorge Andujar Moreno a.k.a. Coke, who has long been ambassador and friend of the Lotto brand, climbs the ranks of the Uefa Europa League with his third consecutive victory.
The Lotto embraces a new discipline and dresses the Italian Padel National Team at the World Cup in Portugal. Lotto continues its involvement with solidarity events such as the "United for Peace" game organized by Pope Francis and played at the Olympic Stadium in Rome with the great football stars of the world.

2020-2025
The evolution of sport trends is leading the company to test and develop new product lines. For example, Lotto can be found walking the international fashion catwalk in Milan in collaboration with Creative Director Damir Doma. The capsule collection combines Damir Doma’s stylistic values with the heritage and the performing features of the sportswear brand.
Whereas in football, Lotto together with the German team Hoffenheim played an emotional game during the Bundesliga Championship, where for the first time in history they reached the qualification for the Uefa Champions League.
